TRUE WEST CINEMA FESTIVAL
WOW! Unexpectedly, Idaho usurped Seattle as the Premiere location for "Little Red"! Who knew! I'm excited about this festival. I love the "True West" ideal - the independent spirit of the can-do west. We build it ourselves from the ground up! We're the loners, the High Planes Drifters, if you will. I'm excited to see the other films and meet the other film makers of the independent west. I'll be going Thursday the 10-Sunday the 13th of August, but I'll miss IRAQ IN FRAGMENTS (another Seattle film maker!), which I've been dying to see.
I'll keep you posted!
By the way, I love to receive comments on this blog. If nobody answers back I'll feel too lonely to keep this diary current! Say hello, ask a question (can be totally unrelated to film, if you want) put a comment out there.
I promise to keep you informed, at least through the True West Fest, even if everyone is quiet.
After that, well, we'll see...

Thank you all for your comments... I don't feel so all alone! True West was fantastic. I'm sure I'll keep commenting on it... This is the kind of grass roots fest that is going to rule the world one day.
